아이튠즈에 제공된 간략한 소개(https://itunes.apple.com/ua/artist/dry-the-river/id418555584#fullText)에 따르면Dry the River는 노르웨이에서 태어난 싱어송라이터 Peter Liddle의 주도로 만들어진 밴드이다.(국적과 밴드 결성지는 영국, 런던인듯) 자신들의 사운드를'포스트-펑크 밴드에 의해 연주되는 포크적인 가스펠'의 느낌이라고 표현하는데말만 들어선 이게 무슨 말일까 알쏭달쏭하지만노래를 들어보면 이해가 가는 것도 같다. 도입 부분에서 잔잔히 깔리는 오르간과 더불어위아래로 조심스럽게 덧입혀지는 코러스들은확실히 성가聖歌를 연상시키며, verse를 거치면서 누적된 감정은 강력한 드럼과 기타 스트로크에 힘입어 응집, 폭발된다. 가사를 쓸 때 영감..
